Paramount Break-a-Leg 5K and the Austin Marathon are proud to announce that the fourth annual Paramount 5K, previously referred to as the Arts Run, will take place Sunday, February 14, 2010 in conjunction with the Austin Marathon and Half-Marathon. The 5k will continue to support the Paramount & State Theatres.

The Paramount Break-a-Leg 5K will take place in downtown Austin, beginning and ending at the starting and finishing lines of the Austin Marathon/Half Marathon - near the entrance of the historic Paramount Theatre.

In addition, the Paramount Theatre will help bring a very local flavor to the event by hosting and presenting a kick-off concert on Friday, February 12, 2010, 8pm - "Unplugged at the Paramount" - that will feature legendary Texas musicians (Joe Ely, Billy Joe Shaver, Slaid Cleves, and more) playing in acoustic format on the historic Paramount stage. This event will be ticketed and will be available to all participants of the Austin Marathon as well as the general public.

Saturday, February 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Packet pick up and day of registration at the State Theatre (719 Congress Avenue): 2/14 - 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM (may change slightly)

The Expo is located at the Palmer Events Center, 900 Barton Springs Rd. in Austin, TX. Parking is available onsite in the event center garage ($7/vehicle).
