Want to stay in shape over the winter? Want to concentrate on getting faster at 5Ks and maybe 10Ks? This session is for you.
You have worked hard all summer to create a solid base level of fitness, and you'd like to maintain that fitness throughout the winter months. You'd like to work on running form and improve your 5K times. You might even be thinking about trying a 10K in the spring.
All group workouts are run workouts at the track, where team members will enhance running form, increase speed, and improve endurance. Our fall/winter training schedule will emphasize the benefits of cross-training in a fun team environment.

Workout Days
Track work -- Wednesday evenings, 6:30 - 8:30pm
All members of the TRI ZONES TRAINING 5K/10K training group will receive:
- Coached weekly Wednesday night track workouts, with emphasis on improving technique, form, strength, balance, and speed
- Group long runs on Saturdays for the half marathon and marathon training groups
- Written training schedule every month
- Implementation of heart rate training
- Strength work guidance, including core strength
- Email access to coach for questions, tips, and guidance
