Keller Williams Run For The Water 10 Miler, 5K and Kids K Downtown, Austin, TX, USA Sunday, November 08, 2009 7:00 am  The course will use much of the same highly-praised course as the last two years; a mix of flat streets and rolling hills meandering through scenic west Austin. Start/finish has changed this year to the first street bridge in downtown Austin. 2007 Run for the Water voted ‘Best New Race’, 2008 Run for the Water voted ‘Best Austin Race’ by Austin Runner Magazine. Part of the Austin Distance Challenge series. The 2009 Run for the Water benefits the Gazelle Foundation, ‘the runner’s charity’. Our efforts assist people in Burundi, Africa, in part, by providing clean drinking water. Here in Central Texas we provide enriching opportunities to actively engage youth in physically fit lifestyles through awareness, education and participation.
