ALL proceeds raised during the event will be divided and donated to three separate charities:
- The Muscular Dystrophy Association’s (MDA), specifically "Augie’s Quest," an initiative within MDA that is an aggressive, cure-driven effort singularly focused on treatments and cures for ALS, (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or Lou Gehrig’s disease).
- ClubCorp’s Employee Partners Care Foundation (EPCF), a fund created to help ClubCorp’s employees and their families by providing financial assistance in times of crisis.
- The Storehouse of Austin - Jack and Sandra Cochrun began this work in 2003 after losing jobs, house and all their belongings. At age 59 they found themselves homeless with no prospects of employment. College educated and experienced professionals, the Cochrun’s hadn't anticipated that anything as devastating could happen to them. When it did, they sensed that God had a new direction for their lives. As a result, Jack and Sandra Cochrun started the Storehouse of Austin, which provides groceries for those in need.
"We are thrilled to be able to open our club to the community during this exciting event," said Patrick Criminger, general manager at Lost Creek Country Club. "It is an honor to be a part of something that positively will touch the lives of so many."
