Texas Woman’s University will host the third annual Pioneer Power Sprint Triathlon on Sunday, August 9, 2009.
This USA Triathlon (USAT) sanctioned event is scheduled to begin at 6:45 a.m. and will feature a 300 meter swim, a 20 kilometer bike ride, and a 3.3 mile run.
The swim will take place in the indoor pool of Pioneer Hall. Both the bike and run courses will start and finish on the interior of the TWU campus (in front of the Blagg-Huey Library).
Dallas Sports University, a Coppell based company, will produce the race.
All profits from the Pioneer Power Sprint Triathlon will benefit the TWU Soccer program.
