Family-friendly run/walk. Friendly pets on leashes are welcome. Check-in will begin at 7:30 a.m.; the run begins promptly at 8 a.m. Your $20 (pre)registration includes the race, refreshments, a 2nd Annual Dragon 5K T-shirt, and awards. The scenic run route winds through the charming streets of Wimberley, beginning at our campus at 515 FM2325 and along Green Acres Road to the Blanco River with a similar return route.
The Katherine Anne Porter School is a tuition-free, open-enrollment charter school located in Wimberley, Texas. Our student body encompasses grades 9-12 and includes students from Hays, Comal, Caldwell, Blanco and Travis Counties. We have a low student-to-teacher ratio, allowing for individualized instruction. Our faculty members carry Texas teaching certifications, many years of teaching experience and numerous graduate degrees. The Katherine Anne Porter School emphasizes community service for students and faculty while fostering skills to engender life-long learning in our students.
