The 4th Annual Lockhart Kiwanis 5K Stampede is featuring a new route along with a new date during cooler weather. This family friendly race will include beautiful scenery of historical downtown Lockhart and a challenging but mainly flat running course. Chip Timing will be offered by RunFar Racing Services.
For over 50 years the Lockhart Kiwanis Club has sponsored various programs, activities, and scholarships for the youth of Lockhart and Caldwell County. Kiwanis's sole purpose is to support the children and youth of our community, state, nation, and world.

This flat, scenic 5K route will give runners a chance to improve their sprint time. Chip timing will be offered by RunFar Racing Services. Runners and Walkers are welcomed. For over 50 year the Lockhart Kiwanis Club has sponsored various programs, activities, & scholarships for the youth of Lockhart & Caldwell County.
Awards will be presented by age brackets, beginning with the youth and ending with the senior division. Event T-shirts will be provided to all participants registering during regular registration. Those registering during late registration will receive t-shirts while supplies last.
The Lockhart Kiwanis 5K Stampede will begin at 8:00 a.m. and will start and end in historic downtown Lockhart. The course will pass by 2 or 3 of the esteemed Barbecue restaurants, Lockhart courthouse and residential areas.
