In the last five years, with help from our friends at RunTex, the Mardi Gras 5K has evolved into a family event that attracts runners and their families from all over Austin. Runners of this event enjoy the lux scenery of Barton Creek with minimal hills.   

1. A beautiful 5K run through some of most impressive neighborhoods in west Austin with a children's 1K fun run.
2. Chip-Timed
3. Awards for top 3 finishers in each age group
4. Awards for children participating in youth run
