Get ready! Get Ready! For a fun and family friendly event - 2nd Annual St. James Missions 5K/1K Run/Walk - Saturday, March 28, 2009 @ 8:00am. This race highlights a challenging course in the heart of East Austin and the Hill Country. It will begin and end in the St. James Church parking lot. All 5K participants will be chip timed. There will even be a super-fun run for the kids!
We are a non-profit organization whose Missions Ministry is promoting Health and Fitness for the entire community. We are promoting healthier lifestyle choices to improve the quality of life within our community and are excitedly encouraging you to join us in pursuing excellence through physical activity.
Proceeds from this event will benefit research for the Alzheimer's Association Capital of Texas Chapter. Additionally, proceeds will enable St. James' Missions to continue to support the educational, financial, physical, and spiritual outreach needs of the community.
