Camp Description Under the supervision of the expert coaching staff, participants take part in daily swim, bike, and run workouts. Athletes receive custom, multisport-specific instruction, in addition to goal setting lessons; learning the art of balancing school sports and triathlon training, and race strategy for non-drafting races and triathlon competition. Emphasis will be placed on developing bike handling skills and road safety.

Camp Description: Athletes have the opportunity to meet peers who share a similar interest and passion for the sport of triathlon. Junior athletes of all experience levels are welcome.
 Camp Description:The camp has been designated a 2008 Youth National Triathlon Development Camp.
USAT Sanction This camp is sanctioned by USA Triathlon. All participants must be annual youth members. If participants are not current members, they are required to join USA Triathlon as annual youth members prior to or at registration. Post-camp Triathlon The Saturday following camp, athletes will be invited to participate in a race hosted by Team ATS Events . Campers are offered the discounted participation fee of $35. Once the camp registration is confirmed, participants will be sent a registration form that reflects the discountedrate. Participants must be pre-registered for the triathlon camp to receive the discounted rate.

Staff The camp is staffed by 10 USA Triathlon certified coaches, which provides a 1:10 coach to athlete ratio. Four of the 10 coaches are female. The camp director is USAT Level 2 certified and the elite coaching staff has varied levels of certification. Read about USAT coaching certification here.

Camper Experience/Ability Levels No prior race experience is necessary to participate in this camp. Athletes should have basic bike handling abilities, such as mounting and dismounting the bike, cornering and braking safely, and obeying all traffic laws.
 
Items to bring: Athletes are required to bring their own triathlon equipment to camp including:
Swim suit, goggles, and towel
Running clothes and shoes
Bicycle (any type), biking clothes (optional), and Helmet
Linens
Toiletries and bathing towels
Items to bring: Athletes 15 years and under may have any type of bicycle. A bike and helmet safety check will be conducted on the first day of camp. Participants will receive a complete list of necessary equipment prior to arrival

Food & Beverage: Three meals a day Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be served to all campers and coaching staff during the course of the camp. The meals will be served in the cafeteria by the St Stephens Staff. Food & Beverage An ample supply of performance snacks and energy drinks will be available for athletes throughout the day. Athletes are encouraged to bring their favorite snacks and some spending money for trips to the convenience store
