This Marathon and Half Marathon training program is a free training program that participants can either choose to follow along on their own or join in Round Rock and Georgetown Training Groups. There is no fee for this program and participants training at their own risk.
This program aims at preparing runners/walkers for the Rock & Roll Marathon/Half Marathon in San Antonio, November 16, 2008. Runners working towards other Marathons and Halves in that time frame are also welcome to participate.
The program will be published to support 4 different levels of athletes for the Half and Marathon Distances. The levels range from beginner runner/walker to advanced competitors.
Workouts will be published to the front page of RunTex.com each week and will also be available through a personal training log/blog, which is also free.
