In today’s health-conscious and adventurous society, the 10K continues to grow into a popular event. As part of Grapevine’s Main Street Days Outdoor Adventure, the Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau and Lake Grapevine Runners and Walkers will host a 10K Trail Walk on Saturday, May 17 at 8 a.m. Registration will take place at 7:30 a.m. at Trawick Pavilion in Oak Grove Park, located at 2700 Trawick Trail at Lake Grapevine. Whether you are a pre-beginner, beginner, intermediate, or advanced walker/runner, the Lake Grapevine Runners and Walkers 10K Trail Walk is for you.
Did you know that there are 21 miles of hike and bike trails in Grapevine? The 10K Trail Walk is a great opportunity to experience some of Grapevine’s scenic trails…What a great way to spend time outdoors!
This fun-filled challenge will head west through some of Lake Grapevine’s beautiful scenic trails, including C. Shane Wilbanks Trail, Snakey Lane and more. Water stations will be available at various points throughout the course. This is a free event and participants will receive a one-day free admission pass to the 24th Annual Main Street Days festival on May 17 or 18.
