The program is geared to runners comfortable covering 5 miles who are looking to improve their speed, strength, biomechanics, endurance and want a group to train with in order to improve. This group is not geared toward a particular event.
This group meet every Wednesday 6:00pm -7:15pm. We will follow the flow of Austin Running. In the fall through the AT&T marathon it will focus on strength, speed and longer endurance typed workouts getting people ready for a marathon or half marathon distances. In the spring the focus will be toward 5k & 10k racing. The summer workouts will be base building & strength focused.
This is a year round class that will meet at the RunTex annex most days.
When you join this month to month training program you will be put on an email list so that you will be sent meeting times and locations weekly. You will have access to the private side of the Rogue website, where you will see the training schedule, be able to take part in the forums, and discounts that Rogue members receive.
Coaches will not be providing individualize workouts in this program they are available to help modify the workout that day to fit your training needs.
