The 8th Annual Tiger 5K runs through the Hidden Springs neighborhood on a USA Track & Field certified course (#TX04011JF). All proceeds benefit the Dripping Springs Band Boosters, a nonprofit organization which supports local high school and middle school band students.

5K: $16 advance, $21 race day
Student (K-12) 5K: $10 advance, $15 race day

Packet-pick-up and registration from 3:30 to 5:30 pm on Thursday 17 Apr & Friday 18 April at Dripping Springs High School and from 7:30 to 8:30 am on race day at the race site.
Awards:
Overall male, overall female, masters male, and masters female: Each will receive an engraved mug and either a one or two night stay at a 4-star Austin hotel, a Polar RS100 Heart Rate Monitor, or a Sony Cybershot digital camera. (First choice of these top four prizes will be given to the best race performance based on age and sex as determined by the race director, second choice to the second best performance, etc.)
5-year age group winners (under 10 thru 70+): Medals and gift certificates to area restaurants and businesses
Top 3 in each age group: Medals
All 5K participants will receive a color T-shirt, and are eligible for door prizes.
Kids K participants will receive color T-shirts and medals.
Dripping Springs Founders Day Festival: The Tiger 5K is being held in conjunction with the Dripping Springs Founders Day Festival. The Dripping Springs Founders Day Festival is April 18, 19, and 21, and is full of activities for the entire family: parade, carnival, arts & crafts, cook-off competitions, live music, food, and beverages. Directions: From Austin, take Hwy 290 West to Dripping Springs. Continue west on 290 through the traffic light at RR 12 for approximately 1 mile. Turn right on Old Highway 290. From Old Highway 290, turn north on Broken Lance Dr. The pavilion and start/finish line will be up ahead. You will be directed to turn right to the parking area at the city softball fields. Please do not park on the streets.
