How can you support animal adoption and welfare in Central Texas? Participate in Blue Dog Rescue's third annual 5K, Run for the Rovers! All proceeds from the event (presented by Premier Animal Hospital) benefit Blue Dog Rescue, a local 501(c)(3) non-profit, all volunteer organization working to place adoptable, homeless dogs with forever families.
The race is primarily for human participants, but you can register your canine family members for the run as well. Each four-legged participant will receive a goody bag. All dogs must be spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations (including rabies), friendly with other dogs and people, and be on leashes. One canine per person please!
The Kids K will begin at 8:00am and the 5k will begin at 8:30, so bring the whole family plus Fido!
Prizes that'll get your tail waggin' will go to the top 3 in each age group, plus the top five canine participants.
