Come out and enjoy the enagural "Fund the Feast 5K" presented by the Texas Strides, a UT student organization whose primary focus is to promote fitness and healthy living habits to university students as well as the Austin community. The course will be held at the beautiful Walnut Creek Park located on north Lamar Blvd. Runners will navigate thier way through the lush green grass covered course to the sound of music provided by local DJ Rich, once you have completed the course (and set a new PR) help yourself to a refreshment or two, catch up with all your fellow
runners and soak in the beauty of another morning in Austin, Texas!!!
Proceeds from "Fund the Feast 5K" will go towards a Thanksgiving Day Meal and Festival for needy families in the Austin area.
Register at any of the Runtex locations or on race day from 8am-9am for only $10
Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers...everybody else gets a pat on the back!!!
Packet pickup will be held on race day, Saturday November 17th from 8am-9am on site.
