7th Annual Tiger 5K

The 7th Annual Tiger 5K runs through the Hidden Springs neighborhood on a USA Track & Field certified course (#TX04011JF). All proceeds benefit the Dripping Springs Band Boosters, a nonprofit organization which supports local high school and middle school band students.

9:00 5K Run and 5K Walk
9:45 Kids K (children 10 and under)
10:30 Awards and Door Prizes

Registration: $16 advance, $21 race day, $10 Student (K-12), $10 Kids K.
On-line registration closes at midnight on Thursday 19 April.
Packet-pick-up and registration from 3:30 to 5:30 pm on Thursday 19 Apr & Friday 20 April at Dripping Springs High School and 7:30 to 8:30 am on race day at the race site.

Awards:
Overall male and female: Engraved mug & 1-night stay at a Hilton hotel in Austin
Masters male and female: Engraved mug & 1-night stay at a Hyatt hotel in Austin or a Polar RS100 heart rate monitor.
5-year age group winners (10-14 thru 70+): Gift certificates from Austin-area restaurants and businesses
Top 3 in each age group: Medals
All 5K participants will receive a color T-shirt (grey with logo), and are eligible for door prizes.
Kids K participants will receive color T-shirts and medals.

The Tiger 5K is being held in conjunction with the Dripping Springs Founders Day Festival. The Dripping Springs Founders Day Festival is April 20, 21, and 22, and is full of activities for the entire family: parade, carnival, arts & crafts, cook-off competitions, live music, food, and beverages. Directions: From Austin, take Hwy 290 West to Dripping Springs. Continue west on 290 through the traffic light at RR 12 for approximately 1 mile. Turn right on Old Highway 290. From Old Highway 290, turn north on Broken Lance Dr. The pavilion and start/finish line will be up ahead. You will be directed to parking.
