"Run for the Bluebonnets" begins and ends in beautiful Fisherman's Park, a perfect setting for a day of family fun. The course runs through the Historical District of Bastrop, providing a flat course with a fast downhill finish! Special appearances by the Bluebonnet Elementary Cardinal!
Time
The Kid's 1K will begin at 8:30 a.m. followed by the Adult 5K beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Benefit
All proceeds benefit Bluebonnet Elementary activities.

On race day near starting/finish line.
Awards/prizes
Each child running the 1K (12 and under) receives a medal or ribbon. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards for the 5K given in the following age groups: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 plus.

Directions
Take Highway 71 East to Bastrop: exit Hasler Blvd. and make a left onto Loop 150, you will cross a bridge, make a left at the stop light which is Main Street, and a left on Farm Street
