“Waking: An Intro to Restoring Mind-Body Connection”

Twenty-seven years ago, Matt Sanford survived a car accident that left him paralyzed from the chest down. For the last fifteen years however, he has been exploring—through hatha yoga—the subtle connections that exist between mind and body. Mind-body integration is more than a personal health strategy. It is a movement of consciousness with the power to change the world. Sanford uses his story of trauma, paralysis, and yoga to introduce participants to the mind-body relationship and a deepened sense of existence.
