Chris Kimbrough led the Rogue Women Elite team at the USATF National Cross-Country Club Championships on Saturday as she placed 26th in the open 6-K race in San Francisco. Kimbrough ran 21:29 in the race won by Amy Hastings of Tempe, Arizona in 19:59. The Rogue women placed 10th in the team standings, well behind the winning team from the Boston AA.
Carmen Troncoso was the second Rogue woman as she finished 52nd in 21:59, followed by Cassie Henkiel (88th) in 22:27, Shannon Presley (173rd) in 23:54 and Brandi Shaw (208th) in 25:03.
The men's 10--K was won by Matt Downin in 30:30. Greg McMillan of Austin placed 88th in 34:21.
