The experienced event team from RaceWorks will provide all of the critical race day logistics including start-finish support, split clocks, race timer and consultation to ensure a safe, fast, and enjoyable race.

Pre-race announcements and alignment of runners will be provided by Robert "Evil" Evilsizer. "Evil" will start the race and then call out runner's names as they approach the 10K finish line. At the completion of the race, "Evil" will move to Century Oaks Park where he will MC the awards ceremony. "Evil's" involvement in the running community has been extensive including being a past-president of the Austin Runners Club.

The official photographer for the event is Kreutz Photography and they will be photographing runners in both events. Participants may view race photos by visiting their website at http://www.kreutzphotography.com.

 

 

Water Stops
There will be 4 water stops located on the 5K & 10K courses near each of the mile markers. Please show your support for our hard working water stop crews by dropping your cups as you exit the water stop areas. Water will also be available at the start and finish of the races.

Toilet Facilities
Portable toilet facilities will be located near the start area. Permanent toilet facilities are available in Century Oaks Park for use after the races.

A Paramedic will ride the course with the runners. The medical staff as well as race officials, will have the right to withdraw any runners from the race who appear in distress or at risk if they should continue.

Distance markers and split clocks will be placed along the courses.
(for 10K runners only)

Finish times will be recorded as each runner crosses the 10K finish line. After you cross the line, do not stop, please continue through the chutes toward the CHIP retrieval area where volunteers will help remove and collect your CHIP.

For safety reasons, please adhere to the following on the race course and in Century Oaks Park: NO in-line skates, NO roller skates, NO skateboards, NO bicycles.
